Culture steps

1. I sow:
Sow from August to September, in lines 30 cm apart.

2. I talk:

When your turnips have 3-4 leaves, pull out the smallest plants. Keep only the most vigorous, so you leave only one turnip every 20-25 cm.

3. I harvest:

Harvest from May to November.
For better preservation, remove the roots from the first frosts and cut the leaves to the bottom. Then place the dry roots in the cellar, in sand.

Tricks:

Turnip is delicious in soups, planters and mashed potatoes.
For a good development of turnip, work the soil very deeply so that it retains a large amount of water.
