    Description:

The PRAIRIE blend allows you to create a natural grass regardless of the type of terrain. Its composition is specially designed to quickly cover large areas and facilitate maintenance.

    1kg - 100m2

    Benefit:

    Easily covers large areas

    How to use it:

    Preparing the turf
    1. Turn the land 20 cm deep, taking care to remove stones, roots and weeds.
    2. Refine the soil on the surface with a fang or rake.
    3. Roll the ground to get a flat surface.
    Sowing the turf
    4. Mix the seeds well. Sow on dry soil, by hand or with a seeder, crossing the passages to achieve a homogeneous result.
    5. Lightly bury the seeds with a rake. To facilitate this step, it is possible to cover them with a thin layer of soil.
    6. Pass the roller to put the seeds in contact with the soil.
    Making the turf
    7. Water regularly in light rain to keep the soil moist throughout the grass implantation period. It takes about 3 weeks to lift the grass.
    8. Mow the first mowing as soon as the grass reaches 10 cm, adjusting the mower to the highest cut height.
    9. Water regularly

    Advice Vilmorin :

    1. To limit weed development, practice the fake seedling technique: just after Stage 1, water and let weeds grow for about 1 week.
Destroy them, preferably by ripping them by hand or with a thermal weeder.
    2. It is common to see weeds rise in the middle of the young grass. Indeed, the soil always contains seeds that take advantage of soil preparation and watering to germinate.
Most will disappear naturally after a few mowings.
