A soil designed for a prolific vegetable garden

The 20 liter Or Brun Potting Soil is specially formulated for vegetable bed cultivation and container planting. Tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, berries or herbs: all these plants find in this mixture a balanced support, certified NF U 44-551 GROWING MEDIUM. Its composition based on natural ingredients contributes to good rooting and promotes the production of tasty vegetables and fruits. You can expect up to twice as many harvests as in a conventional substrate.

A rich composition for long-lasting nourishment

Thanks to the natural fertilizer and the addition of amendments, Potting Soil Or Brun deeply nourishes and supports the growth of your plants over the long term. It consists of blond peat, composted bark, green compost, wood fibre and horse manure enriched with Vendée seaweed. This synergy of organic elements improves the structure of the soil by promoting aeration and water retention, while providing essential nutrients.

Technical characteristics adapted to the needs of the crops

With a dry matter of 56.1% and an organic matter content of up to 68.7% on dry produce, this soil provides a rich environment for root development. Its conductivity of 61 mS/m and pH of 5.4 create an environment suitable for a large number of vegetable plants, providing them with the right amount of nutrients. In addition, its water holding capacity of 599 mL/L ensures a balance between moisture and oxygenation of the substrate, reducing the risk of water stress.

Simple implementation for visible results

To sow or transplant, place about 5 to 6 cm of this potting soil at the bottom of your terrine or vegetable patch. Then place your seedlings or seeds, and top up with a light addition of substrate if needed. Water thoroughly to allow the roots to settle well. The mixture incorporates two types of NPK fertilisers (4-6-10 and 5-3-8) in measured quantities: 2 kg/m³ for the first and 1 kg/m³ for the second. The nutrients are thus released gradually, avoiding any risk of over-fertilization.

An ally for a generous vegetable garden all year round

By opting for this growing medium, you are giving your plants the best chance of developing harmoniously. The organo-mineral fertiliser provides the energy needed for flowering and fruiting, while the organic base improves the soil structure over time. You quickly get a productive vegetable garden, rich in tasty vegetables and berries, all with limited maintenance. The 20-litre Potting Soil Or Brun then becomes a must-have for any gardener wishing to harvest fresh and gourmet products.
