Description:

Native to the Himalayas, this shrub produces purple trumpet flowers in its first year, followed by red berries resembling small elongated cherry tomatoes.

Culture tips:

1/ Sow in pots in a fine soil at 20-25oC. Patience, lifting can take 4-6 weeks! For flowering in the first year, sow under a heated shelter in January.

2/ At the 10-15 cm stage, transplant into a pot in a mixture of earth-sand.
