The lettuce appreciates the proximity of beetroot, carrot, cabbage, bean, melon, and onion.
Sow in June-July, in lines 30 cm apart. To have lettuce as early as May, sow in a well-exposed situation in February-March.
At the 3-4 leaf stage, remove the smallest plants. Keep only the most vigorous, so that only one lettuce is left every 30 cm. Harvest in September-October.
