Overview
The Palm and Mediterranean Plants Fertilizer Solabiol, available in a 1.5 kg box (reference SOPALMY15), is aimed at all those who wish to support the growth of their ornamental plants. Designed with respect for the environment, it can be used in organic farming according to Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007. It helps palm trees (Trachycarpus, cycads, phoenix, butia, etc.) and other typically Mediterranean plants to flourish in the long term, thanks to a balanced supply of nutrients and the presence of OSIRYL® (root growth stimulator).
Benefits for your plants
This fertilizer provides regular nutrition throughout the season, especially in the summer when palm trees need nutrients the most. Its versatile action reinforces resistance to harsh weather conditions while promoting the formation of dense and green foliage. Its nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potash (K) content helps plants maintain a robust habit, while magnesium (MgO) intensifies foliage colour and encourages harmonious development.
Balanced composition
The mixture contains NPK 7-4-7 supplemented with 2% magnesium (MgO). It also contains 50% dry matter, 40% OSYR® active ingredient and 8% sulphuric dioxide (SO3). The formula incorporates an agronomic additive that complies with the NF U 44-204 standard as well as nitrogen of organic origin (from feather powder, bone powder, hydrolyzed meat, vegetable and animal compost). This combination of elements prevents any risk of root burn while improving soil structure.
Simplified user manual
For best results, make three applications per year, ideally from June to September. Spread the fertilizer on previously moistened soil, then incorporate it lightly by scratching before watering. A handful (about 50 g) is enough to treat the base of a palm tree, and the recommended dose is 200 g/m² for planting or maintenance. A 1.5 kg case can cover up to seven trees.
Tips
Regular watering is a perfect complement to the fertiliser supply, especially during the summer months. To maximize protection from the cold, install winter mulch around palm trees. This fertilizer is also suitable for other varieties that require an environment rich in organic matter, such as bougainvillea, laurel or blue hydrangeas.
Keep the soil light and well-drained to avoid excess moisture.
Opt for a sunny exposure, preferably facing south.
Provide fertilizer every month in the summer if necessary.
Why Feed the Earth Regularly
Roots naturally draw on soil reserves, but these are depleted over time. By regularly providing a balanced fertiliser, you maintain fertility and support the growth of your plants. Essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium combine to consolidate foliage, stimulate flowering and ensure good resistance to climatic hazards. Constant use of this organo-mineral fertiliser effectively complements the soil's contributions and contributes to the maintenance of a healthy garden.
