Films, sails and growth covers as well as forcing and market gardening films have the role of culture accelerator. They create a microclimate conducive to seedling germination or plant growth for early-stage gain in crop setting and harvesting. The resulting greenhouse effect causes an increase in temperature and the maintenance of an ideal humidity under the film.

These films also protect crops from the elements (hail, wind, etc.), insects and birds.
The growth film has a macro-perforation. This allows for natural ventilation and facilitates
watering.
