Acto trap special Asian hornets

Protect your home, garden and hives with the ACTO hornet trap, specially designed to capture hornets, Asian hornets and wasps. Its elegant ovoid domed design blends harmoniously into your garden, terrace, balcony or around your pool. It makes it possible to capture these pests throughout the summer. In addition, its intelligent design allows insects with a thorax size of less than 5mm, such as bees, to emerge from the trap through the hole placed on the lower part, thus preserving beneficial populations.

Instructions for use:

1. Separate the transparent and green parts by unscrewing them and remove the perforated selective grid.
2. Pour the ACTO attractant into the trap, replace the grid, and screw it back.
3. Position the trap ideally at a height of 1.80 m.
4. Asian hornets will enter the trap through the gully but will not be able to come out thanks to its specific shape.
5. To kill captured hornets, close the insect entrance hole with the provided cap, empty the bait into a container (it can be reused), immerse the trap in a bucket of water for at least 30 minutes, and empty the trap. For optimal efficiency, regularly renew the attractant.

Precautions for use:

• Position the trap away from the garden table to avoid competition with foods that are very attractive to hornets during meals.
• Maintain and store indoors year-round to extend trap life.
• Place the trap out of reach of children. Make sure all insects are drowned before emptying the trap.
• Dispose of the cardboard case in the waste recycling bin, and trap it in a landfill.
