The passivelore or passion flower, native to tropical America, is a climbing vine adorned with persistent foliage, dark green varnished and beautiful blue and white flowers, followed by bright orange berries, edible when ripe. Rather rustic, it supports different types of soils, different weather conditions and does not need much maintenance.

Sow in spring in a mixture of heath-earth soil. Cover the seeds and water. To facilitate germination, soak the seeds in water for 1 to 2 days. At the 10-15 cm stage, transplant into a pot in a heath-earth-earth mixture.

Plant in the open ground in autumn in areas with mild winter. The flowers only bloom for one day but the numerous flower buds ensure a continuous flowering from May to September.
