Flax appreciates light, infertile, humus-rich and well-drained soils.

The sowing stages:

Sow in the ground from April to June in sunny exposure by broadcast or in 25 cm rows. Tamp down the soil to bury the seeds

If your seedling is too dense, thin by pulling out the smallest plants so that only one flax plant is left every 15 cm or so.

Flowering from June to October.
